Looking ahead to March 8th… It’s Puzzle Palooza at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Mt. Pleasant at 2pm!  Tickets are $20/person available at Browns Shoe Fit or by calling 319-931-1300.  Snacks are provided and all are welcome.  This event is sponsored by P.E.O. chapter OX and proceeds go toward supporting educational opportunities for women.

Mt. Pleasant School District recognizes FFA week at the high school! A full week of events designed to recognize FFA  have been planned.  Any money raised through these events go to the MP FFA Chapter to help with their projects and to support the chapter.

• Monday – pay a dollar and wear a hat to school.
• Tuesday – Faculty breakfast…FFA members will be cooking and serving breakfast to all staff in the district.
• Wednesday – Horsepower Day – FFA members will be driving a tractor to school!  STRAWBERRIES ARRIVE AROUND 2:30PM!
• Thursday – Community Pancake Supper 5:30pm – 7pm in the commons area of the high school.  The meal is open to everyone and is a free will donation.  The bush hog raffle winner will be announced.
• Friday – Kiss A Pig Day!  Students pay a dollar and the teacher with the most donations wins and will have to kiss a pig!
