COVID is on the increase in Henry County. Henry County Public Health Director Shelley Van Dorin said at noon today (Tuesday) that 8 more cases have been diagnosed and the positivity percentage average has gone from moderate to substantial. Henry County Public Health is now offering the COVID vaccination Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 3:30 pm at the Public Health Office, 106 N. Jackson Street in Mount Pleasant. Van Dorin encourages those who haven’t been vaccinated but are considering getting immunized to take advantage of the extended clinic hours. Please note….the Public Health Office is closed Wednesday, 8/4/21 from 8 am to 1 pm for a water-shut off.
