Fort Madison — The Mount Pleasant boys’ soccer team saw their season come to a close last night in an 8-0 loss to Fort Madison in 2A regional quarterfinal.
Mitchell Pothitakis hat-tricked for the Bloodhounds while also providing three helpers.
Nathan Bowen had two goals as well.
Fort Madison, now 13-5, will welcome in Washington on Monday in the second round on Monday night.
Mount Pleasant ends their season 1-16.
