Mount Pleasant — Another Mount Pleasant senior is staying close to home.
Yesterday senior forward Dillan Malone made his commitment to Iowa Wesleyan official, signing to play soccer for the Tigers this year.
Malone leads the Panthers with four goals and eight shots on goal.
Other schools in the mix for Malone’s services included Grand View and William Penn, but the combination of playing for an up and coming program and being close to home were too good to pass up.
Iowa Wesleyan is coming off a 6-2-2 spring season.
