A Burlington man wanted in Washington County was taken into custody Wednesday evening in Des Moines.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Trenton Lee Kasemeier, 42, of Burlington, was located by the Des Moines Police Department on a Washington County warrant for forgery. The warrant carried a $5,000 cash-only bond and authorized pickup within a 200-mile radius of the county.
Kasemeier is currently being held on local charges in Des Moines, with a detainer placed by Washington County authorities.
