Iowa City — Fran McCaffery and the Iowa men’s basketball program are making inroads on replenishing the cupboards and did so in a big way yesterday securing a commitment from Massachusetts prepster Dasonte Bowen.
Bowen is the top-ranked high school player in the Pilgrim State and is the No. 92 overall player nationally.
He chose Iowa over offers from Boston College, Northwestern and Maryland.
