College Football: Iowa Drops After Loss, Iowa State RV

KILJ — The Iowa football team has dropped nine spots in the latest Associated Press Top-25 poll following their 24-7 loss to Purdue on Saturday

The Hawkeyes are No. 11 in this week’s poll.

Iowa State, who earned a 33-20 road win at Kansas State are receiving votes.

Georgia, Cincinnati and Oklahoma are the top-three this week.

Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State go 5, 6, 7 this week.

Michigan State is up one to No. 9.

Purdue entered the top-25, the Boilermakers are No. 25 in the newest AP poll.

The Hawkeyes will rest up on their bye week before traveling to Wisconsin on October 30th.

Iowa State will host No. 8 Oklahoma State this Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium.
