KILJ — Three individual champions and nine all-conference performers highlighted Friday’s action at the American Rivers Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the Central College men’s team.
The Dutch were led by former Mount Pleasant star Sam Beatty.
Beatty, a junior for Central, defended his outdoor high jump title, winning for the second year in a row after clearing the bar at 6 feet, 10.25 inches, a new personal-best mark.
Next up for Beatty is the Midwest Twilight Qualifiers, which will be hosted by Augustana College in Illinois.
