Henry County Public Health’s immunization clinics will be closed for the remainder of this week due to refrigerator repairs. All vaccines have been safely transported to an alternative storage facility to maintain proper storage conditions while repairs are completed. Fairfield hosts a community parade celebrating “250 Years of America” at 6 p.m. New this year, starting at 5 p.m., the Fairfield Public Library will host an Independence Day Bike Brigade—inviting families to decorate bikes, wagons, and strollers before rolling straight into the parade. After the parade, the celebration continues in Central Park with music, ice cream, and an evening of community fellowship.

Community Blood Drive- ImpactLife will host a community blood drive on 07/02/2026 from 2pm-7pm at Keosauqua United Methodist Church in the Meeting Room. Donating blood is a simple way to help ensure local hospitals have the lifesaving blood products they need for patients facing surgery, cancer treatments, traumatic injuries, and other medical emergencies.
