St. Patrick’s Day!

Gene Wilkerson will be at Addington Place of Mount Pleasant! He will be presenting a short history on bagpipes and kilts with several bagpipe tunes thrown in from 10 to 11 am. This event is free and open to the public.

VFW POST 7641 IN NEW LONDON WILL SERVE CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE WITH IRISH POTATOES FROM 5-7 PM OR UNTIL GONE. COST IS FREE WILL DONATION WHICH WILL GO TO SUPPORT THE DAV TRANSPORT VAN IN MEMORY OF DECEASED COMRADE REX DOVENSPIKE. Veteran’s breakfast for this morning has been cancelled. The next breakfast at the Moose Lodge is April 21st.

The Houghton Knights of Columbus Fish Fry will be held at the hall in Houghton from 5 to 8pm.  Choice of whole catfish, fish fillet or jumbo shrimp.  This will be the last one for this Lenten season due to the start of the of the kitchen remodeling project.
