IW Hands Service club is gathering and collecting canned food to help local food pantry and students. If anyone would like to donate, there are boxes at the Tiger Station located in the P.E.O. Building lower level room 113. They are open from 8am to 4pm. Please feel free to stop by or call at 319-385-6284 for curbside pick up.  Today is the last day to donate.

The Mount Pleasant High School Drama Department presents the play, “Charley’s Aunt” at 7 pm on the Heatilator stage.  Tickets are $5.00 at the door.

The third annual Bonaparte Music Bonanza features a night of musical entertainment from musicians and vocalist from throughout the Tri-State area. It will be held in the gymnasium of the former Bonaparte school building; 602 8th Street in Bonaparte starting at 7 pm. A variety of genres will be sung/performed. A soup supper will be held prior to the show on Saturday night Nov. 13th with a free will offering. There are still plenty of tickets available for both Friday and Saturday performances. Advance tickets are $10 for age 5 to adult and may be reserved by calling 319-561-0992, there will not be reserved seating.  Tickets will be $15.00 at the door.
