4th of July Celebration in Mt. Pleasant- Join the community of Mt. Pleasant this 4th of July from 5pm-9pm at McMillan Park for a parade. trolley rides, bounce houses, face painting, a carousel, and live music by Linc and the Drifters!

The 5th Annual Donnellson Tunnel to Towers 5K Run/Walk will take place beginning at the Donnellson Fire Department in Donnellson. Media check-in and availability begin at 7:00 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 7:30 a.m. featuring guest speaker Holly Benda. The race will start immediately following the ceremony and will include an Iowa State Patrol Honor Guard presentation, an emergency personnel parade, and a remembrance of eight military personnel lost in the past year.
