The Mount Pleasant city compost site is open from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and 1 to 6 pm on Wednesdays.  The site is located on Yocum Lane behind Saunders Park.

Mount Pleasant Farmer’s Market from 8:30 am to 11 am at McMillan Park under Wright Pavilion

The Winfield City Wide Sales are taking place today.

The Big Creek Tractor Club holds their first ride of the year today. They meet at Steffes Group in Mount Pleasant where you load and unload. They leave for the Denmark Parade at 8 am sharp. They will stop in New London at the nursing home and the Casey’s along the way.

The 38th Annual Birmingham Homecoming continues with a full day of activities.  Some of the highlights are  the car show from 8 am to 2 pm, the parade at 11 am and the tractor and garden tractor show at 1 pm.  There will be lots of games, food and music thru out the day.

Denmark Heritage Days is in full swing starting with the breakfast and ending the day with live music.  In between there are games, the tractor parade at 1 pm, the pedal tractor pull at 2:30 and the pork meal at 5 pm.
