This is the last day of Brighton Whoopee Days.  The community church service is at 10 am in Central Park.  Registration for the horse shoe tournament starts at 11 am and the action starts at noon.

The railroad crossing at Racine Avenue east side of New London will be closed for repairs Monday.

The Henry County Road Department announces a road closure on 253rd Street, one mile east of Franklin Avenue for crossroad culvert replacement. The road closure begins June 21 at 7 am and will last for about one week.

The Henry County Road Department announces construction work Monday, June 21^st on Iowa Avenue south of Mt. Pleasant. Portable traffic signals will be utilized as traffic will be limited to one lane. Please travel this area with caution.

Midwest Old Threshers Reunion is in need of more individuals to open their homes for the “local In-Home Stay Program.” Many visitors are still looking for a place to stay during the 2021 Midwest Old Threshers Reunion on September 2 through 6.
