Everything there is to enjoy at the Henry County Fair today!
- 11:00am – 3:00pm Bucket/Bottle Interviews- This beginner-friendly program allows youth to raise an orphan or bucket-fed calf and culminates in three judged components: an in-person interview, a project record book, and the show ring.
- 12:00pm Sheep Show- 4-H and FFA livestock exhibition where local youth display their market lambs and breeding ewes.
- 3:00pm Goat Show- A multi-division agricultural competition showcasing the hard work, animal stewardship, and showmanship skills of local 4-H and FFA youth.
- 4:30pm Livestock Scanning- A process where a specialist uses ultrasound technology on market animals (like beef, sheep, and swine) to evaluate their meat quality and composition.
- 5:00pm – 6:30pm Farm Family Ag Appreciation Meal (WP)- An annual community event hosted at the Henry County Fair (IA) designed to celebrate local farmers and the agricultural community.
- 5:30pm City Band Performance- A traditional musical event featuring the local community musicians.
- 6:00pm Bill Riley Talent Show- An official local qualifying event for the prestigious Iowa State Fair Talent Search. Local amateur performers compete to advance to the state championship
- 6:30pm 4-H/Farm Bureau Bottle Animal Show- A noncompetitive 4-H event that allows young children to learn about animal care, practice showmanship, and exhibit a bottle-fed animal (such as a lamb, goat, or bucket calf) without the pressure of a judged livestock competition.
- 7:30pm Impact Pro Wrestling- A premier Midwest independent professional wrestling promotion that brings a high-energy, live wrestling event.
Touching Our Grief Support Group 4-5:30 pm- Join this ongoing support group on the third Thursday of every month for adults who have suffered the loss of a family member or friend and are seeking support and education at the Everystep Conference Room 118 N Main St.
Community Blood Drive- ImpactLife will host a community blood drive on 07/16/2026 at the Birmingham Lions Club from 3-6:30pm and at Sharon Center United Methodist Church from 2:30-6:30 pm. Donating blood is a simple way to help ensure local hospitals have the lifesaving blood products they need for patients facing surgery, cancer treatments, traumatic injuries, and other medical emergencies. Eligible donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment or walk in if space allows. Every donation can help save lives throughout the region. Click the link to register:
