The Mount Pleasant Children’s Discovery Center is open on Tuesdays from noon to 2 pm.  The Center is located on the east side of the Public Library Civic Center on East Monroe Street.

The Mount Pleasant Moose Lodge serves tacos on Tuesday nights from 5 to 7 pm.  The Lodge is located at 108 N. Saunders Street.

Addington Place in Mount Pleasant is hosting Outdoor Movie Night at 7 pm.  The movie “Avatar” will be shown.  Free admission, complimentary popcorn, snacks and drinks.  Please bring your own chair.

Henry County Engineers Office announces a culvert replacement project on Ash Avenue (W-46), south of Hillsboro. The road will be closed starting Wednesday, May 31st for approximately 2 months, weather permitting. There is a posted detour route, please drive with caution.
