The Henry County Courthouse has shared Holiday Hours starting today:  

• Clerk of Court – Closed today & tomorrow, OPEN on 12/26/25 8am – 4:30pm
• Henry County Auditors’, Recorders, Attorney, & Assessors Offices: 8am – NOON
• Henry County Treasurers Office: 8am – 4:30pm

All Henry County Courthouse Offices are closed on Christmas Day. Only the Clerk of Court Office is open on Friday, 12/26/25; all other offices are closed.

Mt. Pleasant City Offices will close at noon today and are closed tomorrow.

The Mt. Pleasant Public Library is closed today and tomorrow; closing at 5pm on Wednesday 12/31/25.  The Children’s Discovery Center is closed for the weekend; 12/26/25-12/29/25

Mt. Pleasant’s Solid Waste Collection & Recycling Holiday Schedule – Lance Refuse & Wemiga Waste will run on schedule today. Trash normally picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Friday, December 26, 2025

Danville Methodist Church invites the community to a traditional Christmas Eve worship service on Wednesday, December 24, at 4:00 PM. The service will share the Christmas story through scripture, carol singing, and conclude with a meaningful candlelight moment.

Birmingham Community Church invites the community to a Candlelight Christmas Eve Service on Wednesday, December 24th at 6:30 PM in Birmingham, Iowa. This special evening will celebrate the Christmas story with scripture, music, and a traditional candlelight service. All are welcome to attend and share in this meaningful time of reflection and worship.
