The Mount Pleasant compost site is open on Wednesdays from noon to 5 pm. Please note this is a change in the Wednesday schedule.  The site is located behind Saunders Park at the west end of Yocum Lane.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market will be held in McMillan Park under Wright Pavilion from 4 to 6 pm.

Olson Powell Memorial Chapel presents The Journey of Grief.  This free grief information and support session will beheld from 5:30 to 6:30 pm Olson Powell on Mapleleaf Drive in Mount Pleasant.

The Mt. Pleasant Fire Department will be hosting it’s annual Fire Prevention Week Open House from 6:00 to 8:00PM. Visitors will get a chance to try on fire gear, spray a fire hose, visit the fire safety house and climb on the fire trucks. Refreshments will also be served.
