On August 17, 2021 the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call of a farming accident near the area of Jewel Avenue and Salem Road. Deputies responded to a single ATV accident on private property. The sole occupant was located deceased. Information on the subject is being withheld at this time pending family notifications. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa DNR, Iowa State Patrol, Salem First Responders, and Henry County Ambulance.
