Looking at our weekly fuel report, the price of regular unleaded gasoline is down 37 cents from a year ago and 4 cents down from last week as it sits at $3.24 across the state of Iowa according to AAA. The national average is down 2 cents from last week, at $3.49.
Retail diesel prices in Iowa fell 1 cent this week with a statewide average of $3.51. One year ago, diesel prices averaged $3.86 in Iowa. The current Iowa diesel price is 31 cents lower than the national average of $3.82.

Natural gas prices fell 9 cents at the Henry Hub reporting site and are currently priced at $2.06/MMbtu.
