Girls’ Track: Panthers Claim Keokuk Relays Title

The Mount Pleasant girls’ track team got strong performances from Kenna and Karsyn Lamm as well as their relays, rolling to a team win at yesterday’s Keokuk Relays at Calvert Stadium.

The Panthers 4×100 team — a Drake Relays qualifier — s0cred their way to first place by three seconds, running 52.70.

Kenna Lamm won the hurdles, she ran 16.28, while Karsyn finished as runner up running 16.51.

Jadan Brumbaugh was up to her usual tricks in the shot put.

Brumbaugh, the Drake Relays champion from a week ago, threw 43 feet, one inch winning by nearly nine feet.

Panther sophomore Kylee Coleman won the discus with a throw of 111 feet, four and one half inches.

Grace Kelley threw 109 feet for second for the Panthers, as well.

Mount Pleasant won the team scoring with 165.5 points and were followed up by Clark County and Keokuk.
