The Klein Center will host a public educational event aimed at informing community members and families about the importance of durable power of attorney (DPOA), power of attorney guardianships, and conservatorships. The session will take place on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Klein Center Gathering Hall.
Klein Center is a five-star long-term care and skilled care residential facility. Klein Center is part of Great River Health System.
Todd Chelf, General Counsel for Great River Health, will lead the discussion, explaining the purpose of establishing a DPOA, how to set up these essential legal documents, what they cover, and why they are crucial for individuals and families.
This informative session is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of how these legal tools can help protect their interests and those of their loved ones. Dinner will be provided during the event.
Community members who wish to attend are encouraged to RSVP by March 20. To reserve a spot, contact Beth Fleming at 349.768.4619 or via email at bfleming@greatriverhealth.org.
