New London- The main attacker for New London, Natalie Burden, signed her letter of intent to continue playing volleyball at the collegiate level at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Illinois.
In her four years at New London, Burden has totaled 921 kills with 127 aces. On the defensive side of things, she added 55 blocks throughout her high school career. Burden has helped guide the Tigers to two Regional Championship games and a state tournament appearance.
Burden collected 448 kills and 37 aces in her senior season as led New London to a 28-10 record and an appearance to the Regional Championship.
She will be joining a Chargers squad that finished last season with a 25-18 overall record and an undefeated 8-0 record in conference play.
