New London 37, Columbus 0 

New London scored early and often as the Tigers rolled to a 37-0 win over Columbus last night.

Hecniel Rodriguez drove in nine runs, while Ryan Richey brought in six.

The Tigers pounded out 11 hits, were walked 16 times and were hit by seven pitches.

Rodriguez also went deep for New London, his first homer of the season.

Carter Allen was the winning pitcher, allowing just one hit over the mercy rule shortened four innings.

He struck out 10.

New London 9, Central Lee 1

In the night cap, New London scored three times in the 5th inning and four times in the 6th inning as they pulled away from Central Lee for a 9-1 win.

Hecniel Rodriguez had two triples in the win and scored a pair of runs.

Camden Kasel and Brenden Richey each had two hits apiece.

Tucker Gibbar drove in a pair of runs.

Josh Catala earned the win on the hill, allowing one hit and a walk over five scoreless innings, while striking out six.

Seth Bailey covered the final two frames while striking out four.

New London improved to 4-0 with the pair of wins.

Washington 8, Mediapolis 7 

Washington 8, Mediapolis 6

Mediapolis had late leads in both ends of a nonconference doubleheader with Washington last night, but it was the Demons doing the late inning spooking as they rallied for 8-7 and 8-6 wins last night.

Cole Lipper and Jordan Anderson each had a pair of hits for the Bulldog offense in game one, while Jaxon Brooks had three hits in game two.

Josh Darbyshire had two hits in the nightcap, as well.

Mediapolis dropped to 1-4.
