Burlington, IA- The Mt. Pleasant Panthers move to 3-2 on the season and 1-2 in Southeast Conference play after falling to Burlington 2-0 last night on the road.
In a close match from start to finish, the Grayhounds snuck in two goals before halftime and fended off all Panther attacks for the rest of the game. Burlington improves to 3-2 on the season with all of their wins coming in conference play.
Burlington and Fort Madison sit atop the conference standings with Mt. Pleasant taking the 4th position. The Panthers will host Fairfield on April 17th.
