KILJ — With mother nature acting up it was a quiet night of prep softball in the area, but No. 4 (3A) West Burlington-Notre Dame found a way to get their contest in, as they sprinted to a 12-0 win over Holy Trinity.
Reagan Engberg had four hits, three runs scored, four RBI and two stolen bases to the lead the Falcons to their 27th win.
They’re now 27-3.
Lauren Summers was again dynamite in the circle, tossing four shutout innings allowing just one hit, striking out four.
Holy Trinity fell to 5-13.
