On May 11th at approximately 4:14 p.m., the Henry County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a two-vehicle collision at Franklin Avenue and Old Highway 34 in rural Mount Pleasant. An investigation determined that 52 year old Todd Christner, was driving a vehicle that collided with a pickup driven by Keith Dugger, southbound on Franklin Avenue. Christner failed to stop at the posted stop sign and yield right of way to oncoming traffic. The collision resulted in severe damages to the vehicles which were towed, no injuries were reported. Christner was given citations for Failure to Obey Stop Sign and Yield Right of Way and Dark Tinted Windows.
