Galena (Ill.) — Aubrey Duncan carded an 85 claiming medalist honors for the Iowa Wesleyan women’s golf team at the Clarke Invite in Galena, Illinois.
Duncan, a freshman from Columbus Junction, finished three strokes better than that of second place.
Former Mount Pleasant standout Michal Wohlleber finished tied for 10th, with Karli Kirchner not far behind in 12th.
The men were led by Brevin Wilson’s 75.
That score placed the Mount Pleasant alum in a tie for 6th overall.
Bailey Shellady carded an 80, with Trace White shooting an 81.
The men finished in a tie for 6th in the team race.
They’ll golf next on April 11th in the William Penn Invite, while the women’s team will take part in the Storm Spring Classic in Indianola on the 13th.
