The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Division has received a $17,500 grant to purchase Tasers for its reserve deputies.
The Greater Jefferson County Foundation presented the grant Monday, August 18. The new equipment will provide reserve deputies with additional tools to safely perform their duties and serve Jefferson County residents.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked the foundation for supporting its Reserve Division and investing in community safety.
