A Mount Pleasant educator and former local principal has been selected to lead the Keokuk Community School District for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Keokuk Board of Education has hired Todd Liechty as interim superintendent. He will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Superintendent Dr. Kathy Dinger.
