The Mount Pleasant VFW and American Legion will be at Meet the Players Night tonight, August 21st, selling Military Appreciation Night T-shirts.
Their table will be located near the concession stand at the Mapleleaf Athletic Complex. Attendees can purchase a shirt, submit an order form, or learn more about this year’s Military Appreciation Night.
Money raised supports the Mount Pleasant Veterans Hall, VFW Post 2561, American Legion Post 58, local veterans and military families, school activities, scholarships, youth programs, and other community organizations.
Military Appreciation Night will be held October 23rd during the Mount Pleasant Panthers’ home football game against Fairfield. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
T-shirt orders and payments are due by September 23rd. Order forms may also be dropped off at the Veterans Hall on Mondays from 5 to 8 p.m. or Fridays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Questions may be directed to 319-217-3079.
