KILJ — Fort Madison played on the front foot from the word go as the Bloodhounds sniffed out a 7-2 win over the Mount Pleasant girls’ tennis team yesterday.
Maggie Fitzpatrick picked up one of two singles wins for the Panthers.
Fitzpatrick defeated Fort Madison’s Rachel Hellman 8-6.
Melanie Olivas was the other singles winner for Mount Pleasant, skunking Elizabeth Stuekerguergen 8-0.
The loss dropped Mount Pleasant to 1-6.
