Mount Pleasant — The Mount Pleasant boys’ tennis team received singles wins from Owen Vansickle, Levi Graber and Lincoln Henriksen, but Maharishi did just enough in doubles to pull out a 5-4 last night over the Panthers.
Vansickle won his singles bout 5-7, 6-3, 1-0, while Graber followed with a 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 victory.
Henriksen took down Jayanta Wegman in straight sets for the Panthers third singles victory.
Jack Schimmelpfennig and Owen Vansickle earned the team’s lone win in doubles, picking up a 9-8 win.
The loss drops the Panthers to 3-6.
