UPDATE: Authorities Searching for Missing Eldon Man After Vehicle Found Abandoned

UPDATE: Southeast Iowa authorities have stated, Jacob Bonner has been located.

He showed up at his parents’ home around 6:00 Tuesday morning.

The Wapello County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 25-year-old Jacob Kyle Bonner of Eldon, Iowa, after his vehicle was found abandoned in a suspicious manner early Monday morning.

At approximately 5:59 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a pickup truck parked sideways in the roadway on the 15000 block of Agency-Hedrick Road, south of Hedrick, IA. Upon arrival, officers found no one in or around the vehicle. A search of the area was conducted with assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit and a drone operated by Henry County Emergency Management. Deputies also searched the surrounding area by vehicle.

Jacob Bonner, who has been reported missing, is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
