Mount Pleasant — Kyle Schubick only made two saves, but it was enough to keep a clean sheet as the Fairfield Trojan boys’ soccer team earned a 3-nil win over Mount Pleasant yesterday at East Lake Park.

Xavier Kapijimpanga scored a goal, while recording four shots.

Fairfield scored twice in the first half before adding an insurance goal late in the second half to pull away for their sixth win.

The loss moves Mount Pleasant to 2-8.

They’ll look to get back into the win column on Monday when they host the Greyhounds of Burlington High School.

Kick is set for 4:30 p.m. at East Lake Park.
