Fairfield — Andrea Lopreato scored two goals as the Mount Pleasant girls’ soccer team jumped to a 4-1 first half lead, cruising to a 5-1 win over Fairfield yesterday at Fairfield High School.
Elly Manning also scored twice for the Panthers, while assisting on both of Lopreato’s goals.
Abby West scored the final goal, while adding an assist.
Emma Pieper made one save for Mount Pleasant.
The Panther win was their second over Fairfield on the season — they’ve outscored the Trojans by a total of 12-1 this year.
Now 6-0, Mount Pleasant will travel to Bracewell Stadium for a date with the Burlington Greyhounds next Monday afternoon.
