Boys’ Soccer: Panthers Meet Up with Top Ranked Nikes

Burlington — The Mount Pleasant boys’ soccer team will get a chance to prove themselves against the state’s best tonight when they hook up with the top-ranked Burlington Notre Dame Nikes.

Notre Dame enters tonight with a record of 16-1, they’ve won four straight since falling to North Scott.

They’ve outscored their opponents 34-2 over that span.

Mount Pleasant, on the other hand, has lost four straight and has been shutout in each of those fixtures.

They’re led by Iowa Wesleyan recruit Dillan Malone, who has scored four times.

The Nikes are paced by Parker Davis who has scored 18 goals and assisted on 26 more.

Tonight’s game will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Notre Dame High School.
