Keokuk — The Mount Pleasant boys’ track and field team crowned three individual conference champions as they finished fourth at yesterday’s conference track meet in Keokuk.
Sophomore Bryce Wilson ran a personal best in the 110m hurdles at 15.30 seconds to win the conference title by nearly a second and a half.
Coming in as the runner up was Jack Johnson who finished 16.60 seconds.
Cooper Pullis, a Drake Relays qualifier from a month ago, is now a conference champion.
Pullis won the shot put yesterday with a heave of 51 feet, 10 1/2 inches over four feet better than that of second place Ethan Deacon of Fort Madison.
With Wilson anchoring, the Panther shuttle hurdle relay team was also a first-place finisher.
Combining with Wilson was Mason MIlls, Morgan Van Nyhuis and Will Davidson.
They ran 1:06.90.
Washington claimed the conference title with 162 points, they were followed up by Fort Madison, Burlington and then Mount Pleasant.
