Pella — Former Mount Pleasant standout now Central Dutch sophomore Sam Beatty has punched his ticket to the NCAA Division III Track National Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina, the school has announced.
Beatty has also been named to the All-Central Region team after hitting 6-8.75 earlier this year.
Beatty is currently slotted as the 12th seed in the high jump.
The top mark is held by St. John Fisher (Rochester, New York) senior Kyle Rollins at an absurd 7-1.
