Girls’ Golf: Washington Claims SEC Crown

Washington — The Mount Pleasant girls’ golf team finished as runners-up at yesterday’s Southeast Conference golf meet at Washingotn Golf and Country Club.

Washington’s Kiki Bruner was the meet medalist with a low-score of 78.

Teammates Makenna Conrad and Anna Nacos both carded 84’s while Kaylin Long finished with a 90 for the Demons.

Mount Pleasant senior Elli Liechty was an All-Tournament team selection after carding a 98 to lead the Panthers.

Sam Wibben finished second for Mount Pleasant with a 106, while Ryann Davidson carded a 108.

Fairfield finished in third followed up by Keokuk and Burlington in the team standings.
