Burlington — The Notre Dame West Burlington Nike girls’ soccer team scored three times, blanking Mount Pleasant in a 3-nil nonconference win in Burlington last night.

Addison Parrott, Amelia Schwenker and Lexi Mears were the goal scorers for the Nikes.

Mount Pleasant had opportunities — Andrea Lopreato had two shots on goal, while Abby West had the other — but could not find the back of the net.

Ava Rashid made three saves for the Nikes.

Emma Pieper made 14 for Mount Pleasant.

The loss was Mount Pleasant’s second in a row, they’re now 8-2.

They’ll look to right the ship Thursday when they travel to Mediapolis.
