Henry County Public Health is inviting residents to take part in a new monthly program designed to answer health questions and provide helpful information in a relaxed setting.
The “Ask a Nurse” sessions offer community members the opportunity to meet with a registered Public Health Nurse, learn about a variety of health topics, and get answers to their questions.
The next session is scheduled for today at 1 p.m. at the Winfield Public Library, located at 112 West Ash Street. The featured topic will be navigating web-based portals to access your personal healthcare information.
Organizers say the sessions are designed to provide easy-to-understand health education on topics such as chronic disease management, nutrition, and overall wellness.
Participants can also receive blood pressure screenings and have the chance to speak one-on-one with a registered nurse.
The “Ask a Nurse” program is free and open to everyone, and no RSVP is required.
