Postseason High School Baseball

In Class 3A Substate 5, Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant both had upsets on the mind after their games were postponed to Saturday afternoon due to Friday’s weather but only the Panthers were able to execute, beating Burlington 7-4, while the Trojans were handled, 12-2, against Williamsburg. Voss Richardson and Chase Countryman each had an RBI in the loss, as the Trojans finished the season with an 18-14 record.

And finally… our guys are growing up a little bit, starting to become a little bit of men, and starting to do things that we were hoping by the end of the year they could do. And we’ve got a little momentum right now, so we’ll go see what we can do against Assumption.
