An exciting addition to Mount Pleasant’s Trail system may disrupt your commute today.
City crews will be paving a portion of the new trail along Grand Avenue beginning early Wednesday morning. During the work, the northbound lanes of Grand Avenue will be closed at Baker Street. Drivers traveling north should follow the detour using the Beavers Drive frontage road. Southbound traffic will remain open throughout the project.
Paving work is expected to be completed by mid-afternoon, weather permitting. Slow down, watch for construction crews, and allow a little extra travel time while the improvements are underway.
