Washington Man Pleads Not Guilty to 14 Felony Charges

A Washington man facing 14 felony charges has pleaded not guilty.

Terry Terell Taylor, 41, of Washington, entered written pleas of not guilty to all charges against him.

Taylor is charged with six counts of distributing drugs to a person younger than 18, third-degree sexual abuse, four controlled-substance violations and three counts of failing to affix a drug-tax stamp.

Court documents allege the offenses occurred between 2020 and 2026. Taylor is accused of distributing marijuana to minors, sexually abusing a child younger than 15 and possessing cocaine and prescription drugs with the intent to distribute.

Taylor remains in the Washington County Jail on a $200,000 cash-only bond. A pretrial conference is scheduled for August 28, with a jury trial set for September 29 in Washington County District Court.

The charges are accusations, and Taylor is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
