Washington — The Mount Pleasant boys’ golf team finished fourth at Saturday’s Washington Invite.
The host Demons won the tournament with a low score of 321.
Clear Creek-Amana was second with Pella Christian third.
Williamsburg, Oskaloosa and Columbus Junction rounded out the seven-team field.
Washington sophomore Roman Roth was the meet medalist with a 4-over 74.
Mount Pleasant was paced by by Nick Matheney, who finished in third shooting a 79.
Reece Kempker tied for 4th carding an 82.
Also playing for Mount Pleasant was Reece Coffman (93) and Nate Dismang (96).
The Panthers will be back on the links tomorrow when they travel to the Oskaloosa Invitational.
Tee time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
The team will be golfing at Edmundson Golf Course.
