Burlington — David Nguyen picked up a win in No. 1 singles as the Panthers swept Burlington in singles play en route to a 7-2 conference win.
Nguyen won 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 to get the party started. Jack Schimmelpfennig followed up the victory with one of his own and the rout was on.
Burlington snuck out two wins in doubles play but the damage had already been done.
The win evened Mount Pleasant’s ledger at 3-3.
