New London — Mediapolis earned gold in six events as the Bulldogs rolled to win at the Chris Selby Invite in New London last night.
Kadin Salek zoomed to gold in the 400m dash, winning in 52.25 seconds — he also went 19 feet, 10.5 inches in the long jump for gold.
Mediapolis’ terrific Anthony Isley also showed why he’s one of the area’s top athletes.
Isley put on his PF Flyers, winning the 200m dash in 22.81 seconds.
New London finished as the team runner up, the Tigers won seven events.
Kade Benjamin, a Drake Relays qualifier, had an easy night on the high jump, clearing 6 feet, 6 inches for first.
Carter Allen also picked up a win — he’ll join Benjamin in Des Moines later this week — in the discus, with a heave of 144 feet, six inches.
New London also earned wins in both the sprint and distance medley.
