Boys’ Track: Mount Pleasant Boys Snag Easy Win

Keokuk — Mount Pleasant racked up 197 points as the Panthers earned an easy win at the Keokuk Relays at Calvert Stadium.

Fort Madison finished as runner-up with 128 points with Burlington slotting in third with 84.5 points.

Mount Pleasant senior Will Davidson continued what has been a terrific final season, winning the 200m dash in 22.02 and also claiming gold in the 110m hurdles in 15.21 seconds — his fastest time this year.

Following in the footsteps of his older brother Khang, Avin Truong earned a win in the long jump.

Avin, just a freshman, soared 20 feet, 5.5 inches for the win.

The Panthers also received wins in the 4x800m, distance medley and shuttle hurdle relay.
