College Softball: Wesleyan Begins Postseason Surge

Fulton — The Iowa Wesleyan softball team (5-9) will begin their conference tournament push this afternoon when they travel to Fulton, Missouri for a date with the fourth-seeded Blue Jays of Westminster.

The Tigers split with the Blue Jays earlier this year, earning a 3-0 win while falling 8-2.

Undoubtedly Wesleyan will turn the keys to the Ferrari over to former New London ace Morgan Christner, who has found another gear in the back half of her senior season.

Christner has allowed two runs or less in each of her last six starts.

Her four wins leads the staff her ERA is now a sparkling 1.90.

This afternoon’s game will begin at 4:30 p.m.
